This Warranty Policy (“Policy”) applies to all ONSOLAR INC., a Delaware corporation (“ONSOLAR,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) products, including solar modules, inverters, energy storage systems, and related equipment.
By purchasing or using ONSOLAR products, you acknowledge and agree to the terms of this Warranty Policy.
1. GENERAL WARRANTY COVERAGE
ONSOLAR provides limited warranties on its products designed to ensure performance, reliability, and manufacturing quality under normal operating conditions.
Warranty coverage applies only to ONSOLAR-branded products installed and operated in accordance with ONSOLAR technical specifications and installation guidelines.
2. SOLAR MODULE WARRANTY
ONSOLAR solar modules are covered by:
Product Warranty: Up to 25 years against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship.
Performance Warranty: Up to 30 years of linear power output performance guarantee under standard testing conditions.
Performance degradation allowances may apply in accordance with industry standards.
3. INVERTER WARRANTY
ONSOLAR hybrid inverters are covered by a limited warranty of up to 25 years, protecting against manufacturing defects and functional failures under normal use and installation conditions.
Warranty validity is subject to proper installation and compliance with technical requirements.
4. ENERGY STORAGE (BATTERY) WARRANTY
ONSOLAR lithium-based energy storage systems (including LiFePO₄ technology) are covered by a limited warranty of up to 25 years, depending on usage cycles, operating conditions, and system configuration.
Battery performance is subject to normal degradation over time, which is not considered a defect.
5. WARRANTY COVERAGE CONDITIONS
This warranty applies only when:
Products are installed by certified or authorized installers
Systems are operated within specified technical parameters
Products are not modified, altered, or misused
Environmental and installation conditions meet required standards
6. EXCLUSIONS
This warranty does not cover:
Improper installation or third-party workmanship
Damage caused by accidents, negligence, or misuse
Natural disasters or force majeure events
Unauthorized repairs or modifications
Improper system integration with non-ONSOLAR components
Normal wear and tear or cosmetic damage
7. WARRANTY CLAIM PROCESS
To initiate a warranty claim, customers must:
Contact ONSOLAR through official support channels.
Provide proof of purchase and system details.
Submit documentation, photos, or diagnostic reports if requested.
Allow inspection or verification by ONSOLAR or authorized partners.
ONSOLAR reserves the right to repair, replace, or provide equivalent solutions at its discretion.
8. WARRANTY TRANSFERABILITY
Warranty coverage may be transferable only if explicitly approved in writing by ONSOLAR INC.
Unauthorized resale or transfer does not guarantee warranty continuation.
9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
ONSOLAR’s liability under this warranty is limited to repair, replacement, or refund of the defective product, at its sole discretion.
ONSOLAR shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of energy production or business interruption.
10. NO IMPLIED WARRANTIES
Except as expressly stated herein, ONSOLAR disclaims all other warranties, whether express or implied, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
